Bio
BILL SELLS GREEN VALLEY.
A native of New York, Bill relocated to California after serving 4 years in the USAF.
In 1971, Bill entered the real estate business in San Diego and has been a REALTOR® ever since. In addition to selling homes, he also taught a variety of real estate courses at Anthony Schools, the largest real estate school system in the nation at the time. In 2018 Bill and his wife, Lillian sold their home in Carlsbad, California and relocated to Green Valley, Arizona, where he is an Associate Broker with Coldwell Banker Realty. He also teaches frequently at Hogan School of Real Estate and on live stream at the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business. "Teaching real estate has always been a joy for me" says Ims. "I find that teaching enables me to inspire others about our business and to keep current with the ever-changing details of real estate". Bill has been a frequent speaker for real estate associations nationwide. In October of 2021, Bill completed his 50th year as a REALTOR®. In 2011 Bill was awarded the National Association of REALTORS® designation, REALTOR® Emeritus (a recognition held by less than 1% of the members in the country). In addition, Bill was awarded California Association of REALTORS® Honorary Member for Life in 2019.
Other interests include singing with THE VILLAGERS, a contemporary folk trio and
performing in live theatre.
Bill has volunteered with Casa Hogar San Juan Eudes in Tijuana; Acapulco and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico and has produced documentaries about each for fundraising purposes.
Past-president Poinsettia Centre for the Arts; Master of Ceremonies/Moderator for City, County and State candidate pre-election debates.
